Tim Janson
Tim was introduced to cyclocross at a NYCROSS.com clinic, just a few blocks away from where he earned his degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. It was love at first dismount; cyclocross’s blend of technical skills, fitness, and gritty racing was a great match for Tim’s background as a runner and mountain biker. Now graduated from RPI, Tim works as a mechanical engineer in Bennington, Vermont, and is going into his first season with the NYCROSS.com team. When it’s not cross season, Tim still spends countless hours in pursuit of flowy singletrack or freshly groomed cross country ski trails.
