2013 Series Rules & Prizes
All USAC Rules for Cyclocross apply.
Series points will be tallied based on the following categories:
Cat 4 Women
Junior Boy U19
Junior Girls U19 Cub Juniors Boys 10-14
Series points are tabulated by www.crossresults.com and rely on submission of results to bikereg.com. Race results must be submitted to bikereg.com within 24 hours of the completion of the event so that series points can be awarded.
There is no Cat 4 Men’s series. In an effort to discourage sandbagging, racers doing Cat 4 have no incentive to stay in Cat 4. If they are at all successful, they can enter the Men’s 3/4 race where series points are up for grabs.
Each individual race promoter reserves the right to offer additional classes during their races. For Example: Masters 65+. Those events are not part of the NYCross.com Series and points will not be tracked for riders racing in those categories. These events must occur after the conclusion of the regularly scheduled NYCross.com Schedule. IE: no mixing unicycle class with a pre-existing field. But, if you want to have an extra field, schedule it for after the Elite Men’s race.
