Masters Series Points

Here’s an explanation of how points are allocated in the Masters Series.

Masters race as a single group for the 35+ series title. 45+ and 55+ groups are ranked simultaneously from within the 35+ and placed along side the 35+ results. As a result a rider who is 47 is both older than 35, and older than 45. He is scored in both the 35+ field and the 45+ field.

Kirkland in the books.

The Kirkland CX was an outstanding success this weekend, with record numbers of riders racing in many of the fields, a great course and just the right amount of nasty weather to make it fun.

Team NYCross.com opened the season with strong results all over the place – Emma White won the 1/2/3/4 women’s race and Chris Delisle took the Masters 35+.  The team put riders in the top ten and on the podium in so many fields the best thing to do is check the complete results and see how much NYCross.com domination there was for yourself.   Look for a complete race review in a day or two, but for now, I’ve got to do some real work so check out the links below:

Results are posted on bikereg.com now.

For a great race review check out Andrew’s write up over at bikealbany.com.
